Tickets: £25 – £35
Diversity, the 2009 Britain’s Got Talent winners are going on tour, and are coming to Glasgow’s Clyde Auditorium for one night of fantastic moves and brilliant entertainment in December 2010.
In May 2009, Diversity took the UK by storm by winning Britain’s Got Talent. Formed in 2007, Diversity are made up of 11 members from East London (Dagenham, Leytonstone), and Essex and comprise three sets of brothers and four of their best friends. Some are still at school or university but the older members include an IT systems engineer, a bathroom installer, and a telecoms engineer.
The group, ranging in age from 13 to 26 (during the filming of Britain’s Got Talent) really are just one big family. They are: Ashley & Jordan Banjo, Sam & Mitchell Craske, Ian, Jamie & Matthew McNaughton, Perri Luc Kiely, Warren Russell, Ike Ezekwugo and Terry Smith.
The group’s leader and choreographer is Ashley Banjo, a university Physics student, who from the age of 14 started to teach himself routines. Incorporating several genres of music from classical to hip-hop, their awesome eye-catching routines won the hearts of the nation. Nearly 20 million people in the UK, and much of the world were glued to their television screens to see Diversity overcome the odds and sweep to victory, in what was the most watched TV programme in these shores for over six years.
After their hugely successful UK tour earlier this year, Diversity are bringing their fantastic show back for another tour around the UK, with a special festive twist!
Not just any show, this will be an interactive story taking Diversity’s talent to a whole other level. The show will be based around the concept of toys coming to life. Apart from their outstanding dance routines, Diversity’s shows will include state-of-the-art lighting, screens, and sound, creating an unbelievable experience. Plus, the music will be as diverse as their performances. Diversity will be joined by none other than Britain’s Got Talent star Aidan Davis and other special guests.

Susan sings yes but the sheer physical talent, balance, timing, coordination, flexibility and REAL TALENT that has brought lovers of dance from some of the poorest areas of London together is now champion of Britain. I would even dare to say the world. My goodness, I saw all their performances and they almost instintively change music, placement, dance moves and coordinated movement like cameleons. Susan has her place yes but this dance group would do the world a favour to export itself globally. Bravo and great work developing raw talent. Hope it spreads throughout the country. My children would love to join in the hard work and fun.
You call this talent??? The real talent of the show was Susan Boyle. I wouldn’t waste my time viewing this trash dance team if it were free.
I got my tickets. Cant wait – it will be brilliant.
