The Courteeners have announced a 12 date UK tour for November & December 2015 with one night in Glasgow’s O2 Academy!

The Courteeners will play 12 dates through November and December including five nights in Manchester and one night in Glasgow’s O2 Academy on the 29th of November 2015.

The indie rock outfit to announced details of the band’s autumn UK tour via their Facebook page, which will finish up with a five night run at Manchester’s O2 Apollo from the 8th of December.

The tour begins in Stoke at Victoria Hall on Thursday 26th November, followed by dates in Lincoln, Glasgow on November 29th, Newcastle, Leicester, Wolverhampton and London, culminating in a five night run of shows at Manchester O2 Apollo from Tuesday the 8th until Saturday the 12th of December. This unprecedented run is the first time any band has played so many consecutive nights at the iconic venue.

It caps a big year for the Manchester four-piece since the release of their fourth album Concrete Love last August, which went to number three in the album charts. After their performances as Reading and Leeds festivals in 2014 they were cemented in place as one of the UK’s top indie acts.

The Courteeners returned home to Manchester in June 2015 for a massive 25,000 person one-off homecoming gig which totally sold out. They also made a hugely talked about performance on the Other Stage at Glastonbury this summer and played sets at the Isle of Wight, T in the Park and V Festival.
