See the prince of pop, Bruno Mars, live in Glasgow’s Hydro Arena this October with his upcoming tour “The Moonshine Jungle World Tour”.

Born Peter Gene Hernandez in Hawaii, Bruno Mars is one of the most talented all round stars in the music game today.

Before his solo career blossomed, Bruno was (and still is) a successful producer and songwriter.  He became recognised as a solo artist after co-writing the hooks for the songs “Nothin’ on You” by B.o.B, and “Billionaire” by Travie McCoy, both of which feature Bruno’s vocals.  He has also written songs for and with artists like Cee Lo Green (“F*ck You!”) and Flo Rida (“Right Round”) amongst  others.

Bruno Mars is undoubtedly among contemporary pop’s most gifted and compelling artists. And with global sales currently certified at 40x-platinum and over 50 million singles sold worldwide, the 14-time Grammy Award nominee has fully proven himself as a true superstar.

In October 2010, he released his debut album: Doo-Wops & Hooligans.  Featuring the hit singles “Just the Way You Are”, “Grenade” and “The Lazy Song”, the album reached the top spot in the UK album charts, and the singles both did the same in the UK singles charts.

Bruno Mars soon racked up a remarkable record of prestigious international awards and nominations, with victories including a “Best Male Pop Vocal Performance” Grammy Award (for “Just The Way You Are”), an American Music Award for “Pop or Rock Music/Favorite Male Artist,” a 2012 Brit Award (for “International Male Solo Artist”), two Teen Choice Awards, a 2012 People’s Choice Award (for “Favorite Male Artist”), a Soul Train Music Award, two MTV Europe Music Awards, two MTV Music Awards Japan, a BT Digital Music Award, an ECHO Award, and multiple 2011 Billboard Awards including “Top Male Hot 100 Artist of the Year.”

As if that weren’t enough, he also received a truly stunning assortment of 2011 and 2012 honors from ASCAP, including the ASCAP Pop Award for “Song of the Year” (for “Just The Way You Are”). In 2011, he was named to the prestigious Time 100, confirming the superstar as one of the most influential people in the world.

Bruno Mars’ debut album and the corresponding singles made his first live tour hugely popular, and his tickets hot stuff.  It sold out pretty quickly, and his upcoming Moonshine Jungle World Tour is going to sell out very quickly, so if you want to catch a Bruno Mars show then make sure you get your tickets ASAP! (Tickets go on sale 1st March).
