Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will play a massive gig in Glasgow in Hampden Park Stadium on Wednesday the 1st of June 2016!

The Boss will play a massive gig in Glasgow this summer at Hampden Park which has a capacity of over 50,000!

Springsteen and the E Street Band will head to Scotland on the 1st of June as part of a mini stadium UK tour, which will also take in Manchester Etihad, Ricoh Arena and London’s Wembley Stadium. These new UK dates were announced following phenomenal demand for tickets for the band’s European arena The River Tour.

The announcement comes in the wake of the release of Springsteen’s new album, The Ties That Bind: The River. The four-disc package celebrates the 35th anniversary of Springsteen’s 1980 double-disc classic, The River and includes the 22 outtakes from the original ‘The River’ sessions, half of which had never been previously released.

Springsteen last played to a £1 million sell-out crowd at Hampden in June 2013. The epic gig lasted three hours and the legend of rock played many of his biggest hits.

With a career spanning over five decades The Boss sent fans into a frenzy with hit after hit at the Glasgow gig. He also passed out placards to gather requests from the crowd and encouraged a 55,000 person sing along.

This newly announced gig for 2016 gig is sure to be one of Scotland’s most memorable concerts of the year, so make sure you don’t miss out. Tickets will definitely sell very quickly!

Tickets go on sale Thursday at 9am.
