For the first time in over 13 years in Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will return to Scotland for one gig only at Hampden Park, Glasgow.

Bruce Springsteen is a rock n roll institution and with songs like ‘Born to Run’, ‘Thunder Road’, ‘Hungry Heart’, ‘Born in the USA’, ‘The River’, ‘Streets of Philadelphia’ and ‘The Rising’ to name but a few, Bruce is an artist with a formidable back catalogue.

And now the Boss is back with his 16th studio album, ‘Working on a Dream’, which has had mass critical acclaim and praise.  ’Working on a Dream’ also features ‘The Wrestler’, which won the Golden Globe for best original soundtrack at 2009′s ceremony.  As always, Springsteen continues to create amazing music that not only exudes passion and dedication but remains relevant to every age and every audience across the globe.

Bruce last played in Scotland on 3rd March 1996 at the Edinburgh Playhouse in support of his newly released album ‘The Ghost of Tom Joad’, and now, 13 years later he will return to Scotland to play at Hampden Stadium on the 14th of July 2009.

Having played a sell-out tour in Europe last year, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street band will return to Scotland for a performance that is sure to go down as one of Hampden Parks’ most memorable ever.  Bruce Springsteen will be back in Scotland with The E Street Band line-up of Garry Tallent (Bass), Clarence Clemons (Saxophone), Max Weinberg (Drums), Roy Bittan (Keyboards), Steven Van Zandt (Lead Guitar), Nils Lofgren (Guitar), Patti Scialfa (Backing vocals, Acoustic Guitar, Percussion), Soozie Tyrell (Violin) and Charles Giordano (organ).
