Celebrate baby’s first Christmas with a personalised certificate and keepsake memento from the Lord Provost of Glasgow.
The first 250 baby’s registered who reside within Glasgow will be invited to meet the Lord Provost and her Bailies at the City Chambers. Babies will also receive a personalised certificate and keepsake memento and have their photograph taken with the Lord Provost.
Registration
Registration will open at 9.00am on the 1st November 2022 and only the first 250 babies registered are invited to meet the Lord Provost and her Bailies at the City Chambers on the 10th December.
Babies will have their photograph taken with the Lord Provost and each baby will receive a limited edition silver trinket to mark the occasion giving families a memento to treasure for years to come.
Those not attending the event on 10 December will be invited to collect their gifts from the City Chamber’s before Christmas.
Only babies residing within the Glasgow City Council boundary, and born on and after 1 November 2021 are eligible to register.

Do u hear back if ur child doesn’t get invited as I filed out forms ages ago at the start of registration and not heard a thing but ppl I know who just had babies who got invited
You’ll need to contact Glasgow City Council. This event is run by them. We have nothing to do with it except listing it on our site.

Hi Linda. You need to follow the instructions in the article above. It tells you when registration opens and where to go to register. It’s all done through Glasgow City Council, not through us.

Can you register twins on the same form
Don’t know the answer to that. When the council releases the sign up form there will most likely be guidelines about it.

The link is not available yet. Glasgow city council are the organisers of this event and they don’t usually realise the link to sign up page until a few hours before sign up opens. In 2014 this was on the 31st October.

You should contact Glasgow City Council about this. I assume you got confirmation that you had a place in the event by email? Perhaps try replying to this or see if there are any contact details in the email. Best of luck.
How do you find out if baby has been selected for babys first Christmas
You would probably have already been contacted by post by GCC by now. You might be able to contact GCC on 0141 287 5064 to find out if you were selected.

Glasgow city council have yet to release the details for the 2014 Babies first Christmas. When they announce it, we will let you know.
