The Aye Write! Book Festival returns in 2012 with a scintillating mix of fiction and non-fiction, poetry and prose, crime, comedy, politics and debate.
Aye Write! is Glasgow’s annual literature festival which in 2012 will celebrate the best of Scottish and international writers.
Events are available for all age groups, including a great family programme on Sat 10th, Sun 11th & Sat 17th.
There is also a spot for new writers; recent graduates from the University of Glasgow, plus many more events from authors of all genres.
Among the authors taking part in this years festival are Ian Rankin, William Boyd, Kathy Lette, Alexander McCall Smith, Joanna Bourke, Liz Lochhead, A C Grayling and Alistair Darling. Events mostly take place in The Mitchell Library, but some special events take place elsewhere in Glasgow so check before you go!
