The inspirational survivor of an attempted assassination by the Taliban is coming to Scotland on August 10th 2016 at the Glasgow Clyde Auditorium.

Malala Yousafzai, youngest recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize and an advocate for education world-wide, will make three rare appearances in UK Arenas this August, including one evening at the Clyde Auditorium in Glasgow on the 10th of August 2016.

Malala will speak on stage about her life and experiences and take part in a Q&A session with the audience.

In October 2012, 15-year-old Malala was on the bus with her friends travelling home from school in her home-town in northern Pakistan when she was shot by the Taliban.

Following the attack, Malala was flown to Birmingham to receive treatment at the specialist Queen Elizabeth hospital. By March of 2013 she had made a remarkable recovery and was well enough to return to school.

Since the attack, Malala has become internationally known for her courage in refusing to be silenced and continuing her fight for the right of everyone to receive an education. Her bravery and unwavering dedication to her cause has seen receive one of the world’s highest honours: the Nobel Peace Prize, of which she became the youngest recipient in 2014.

This promises to be a truly inspirational talk for people of all ages and backgrounds. One not to miss!
