A-ha have announced a huge UK & European tour for 2016. The ‘Cast in Steel’ reunion tour will stop in Glasgow’s Hydro Arena for just 1 night on the 28th of March 2016.

‘Cast in Steel’ is being launched to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the release of their breakthrough hit ‘Take On Me’.

The ‘Cast in Steel’ tour is scheduled to kick off in Manchester on the 25th of March next year, before moving onto London, Glasgow on the 28th of March and finally Birmingham. The European leg will begin in Stuttgart, Germany at the Schleyerhalle in April, and will visit other European cities including Zurich, Munich, Vienna and Berlin through the month.

The tour will follow the ‘Take On Me’ group celebrating the 30th anniversary of Brazil’s Rock in Rio festival with a spot at the 2015 event this September in Rio de Janeiro. They famously set a record by playing to more than 198,000 people at the festival for the first time back in 1991.

A-ha scored a string of US and UK hits in the 1980s, including ‘The Sun Always Shines on TV’ and Bond theme ‘The Living Daylights’.

Make sure you get your tickets soon, because this will be a popular gig!
